The present invention relates to photoactivatable nanoparticles for photodynamic applications containing a photosensitizer, a (C8 to C22) fatty alcohol and a polymeric surfactant, preferably poly(ethylene oxide) monomethyl ether-block-poly(ε-caprolactone), whereas the size of the nanoparticle is in the range of from 1 to 1000 nm, and the core of the nanoparticle is solid at the temperature of 4 °C, and liquid at the temperature around 39 °C. The present invention further relates to a method of preparation of the photoactivatable nanoparticle, a pharmaceutical composition containing it, and use thereof.La présente invention concerne des nanoparticules photo-activables pour applications photodynamiques incluant un agent photosensibilisant, un alcool gras en C8 à C22 et un tensioactif polymère, de préférence l'éther monométhylique de poly(oxyde d'éthylène)-bloc-poly(ε-caprolactone), tandis que la taille de la nanoparticule est comprise entre 1 et 1000 nm, et le noyau de la nanoparticule est solide à une température de 4 °C, et liquide à une température d'environ 39 °C. La présente invention concerne en outre un procédé de préparation de la nanoparticule photo-activable, une composition pharmaceutique l'incluant et son utilisation.
