PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a W/O type emulsified hair cosmetic that has high formulation stability and imparts excellent gloss, smooth feeling, and moist feeling without stickiness to the hair.SOLUTION: The W/O type emulsified hair cosmetic includes, as a W/O type emulsifier, a composition consisting of (a) octyldodecyl xylocide, (b) octyl dodecanol, and (c) dipolyhydroxystearate polyethylene glycol. Preferably, the formulation ratios of the components (a), (b) and (c) in the composition are 10-30 mass%, 50-60 mass% and 10-30 mass%, respectively.
