PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a watering device for a plant cultivation apparatus, which can improve the maintainability of the plant cultivation apparatus and can reduce the consumption amount of cultivation water and plant production cost, by controlling the adhesion of the cultivation water to the constitution members of the plant cultivation apparatus and spraying the cultivation water on the plants of cultivation trays.SOLUTION: The plant cultivation apparatus 100 comprises a cultivation house 105 having cultivation racks 106 in which cultivation trays 101 are stored, a watering device W and a delivery station 120 on which a cultivation tray 101 to be watered is loaded. The watering device W has spray nozzles 145 for spraying the cultivation water on plants P, and a cover 130 for preventing the spreading of the cultivation water sprayed from the spray nozzles 145. The cover 130 for forming a watering chamber Ri is downward extended from a ceiling wall 131 to the cultivation tray 101 to cover the whole bodies of the plants P on the plane view and surround the whole bodies of the plants P with the lower end portions of the side walls 132 of the cover on the plane view. The spray nozzles 145 spray the cultivation water in the watering chamber Ri.【課題】植物栽培装置の構成部材への栽培水の付着を抑制することおよび栽培トレーの植物に栽培水を噴霧することにより、植物栽培装置のメンテナンス性の向上が可能で、かつ栽培水の消費量と植物の生産コストとを削減可能な植物栽培装置の潅水装置を提供する。【解決手段】植物栽培装置１００は、栽培トレー１０１が格納される栽培棚１０６を有する栽培庫１０５と、灌水装置Ｗと、潅水される栽培トレー１０１が載置される入出庫棚１２０とを備える。灌水装置Ｗは、植物Ｐに栽培水を噴霧する噴霧ノズル１４５と、噴霧ノズル１４５から噴霧された栽培水の拡散を防止するカバー１３０とを有する。潅水室Ｒｉを形成するカバー１３０は、平面視で植物Ｐの全体を覆うとともに、カバーの側壁１３２の下端部が平面視で植物Ｐの全体を囲むように、天井壁１３１から栽培トレー１０１に向かって下方に延びている。噴霧ノズル１４５は潅水室Ｒｉ内で栽培水を噴霧する。【選択図】図１
