PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly durable flexible tube for an endoscope which does not deteriorate in adhesion between a blade and an outer shell in the flexible tube due to moisture when a use time of the endoscope passes or under use environment (including cleaning environment) of the endoscope even when the endoscope is kept used.
SOLUTION: The flexible tube for the endoscope has a helical tube, a blade, and an outer sheath. The blade has a double-layered structure in which a resin fiber layer formed of first resin fiber and formed as an inner layer covering an outer periphery surface of the helical tube and a metal fiber layer formed of metal fiber and formed as an outer layer outside the resin fiber layer are connected by second resin fiber. The outer sheath includes inside the metal fiber in the metal fiber layer of the blade. The resin fiber layer of the blade has an outer peripheral surface covered by at least the outer sheath and applied with an adhessive, and is bonded to the outer sheath through the adhesive.
