PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical telemeter system and transmitter capable of reliably preventing the setting error of a channel assigned to the transmitter.SOLUTION: A medical telemeter system includes: a transmitter 120 having a transmission section 280 for wirelessly transmitting biological information of a patient with the use of a predetermined transmission frequency and a report section 240 for reporting transmission frequency information indicating the transmission frequency and a receiver 140 having a reception section 340 for receiving the biological information wirelessly transmitted from the transmission section 280 and a reported section 300 for receiving the report of the transmission frequency information from the report section 240. Thus, the channel of the transmitter 120 is automatically reported to the receiver 140 even when a user (e.g. a manager) does not perform an input related to the channel (transmission frequency) of the transmitter 120 while viewing the surface of the transmitter 120.
