The present invention relates to use of (thio)-carbamoyl-cyclohexane derivatives, particularly, to trans-4-{2-[4-(2,3-dichlorophenyl)-piperazin-1-yl]-ethyl}-N,N- dimethylcarbamoyl-cyclohexylamine and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof for preparation of a medicament for schizophrenia treatment. Furthermore, the present invention relates to schizophrenia treatment by use of (thio)-carbamoyl-cyclohexane derivatives, particularly, trans-4-{2-[4-(2,3-dichlorophenyl)-piperazin-1-yl]-ethyl}-N,N-imethylcarbamoyl-cyclohexylamine and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts.
