The present invention relates to a double bearing reel which employs a simple configuration scheme to prevent water from flowing in the inside of a bearing member. The double bearing reel includes a reel body (1), a spool unit (2), and a waterproof member (5). The reel body (1) includes a first side plate (6a) and a second side plate (6b) arranged in the axial direction while having a gap with respect to the first side plate (6a). The spool unit (2) includes a wire winding body (12), a first flange unit (13), and a second flange unit (14). The waterproof member (5) is arranged on the first side plate (6a) of the reel body (1). The first flange unit (13) has ring-shaped ribs (13b) extended to the outside from the first flange unit (13) in the axial direction while having a diameter shorter than that of the outermost diameter of the first flange unit (13).
