The topical gel composition according to claim 5, wherein the alpha adrenergic receptor agonist is selected from the group consisting of oxymetazoline, phenyleprine, methoxyamine, brimonidine, tetrahydrosaline, naphazoline, xylometazoline, epinephrine and norepinephrine. 7.
