PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root crop harvester that enables solution to various problems affected by the mud attached to the harvested crops, concerning a conveyance recovery process to a recovery container of pull-out crops, without needing a work load of mud scraping of crops pulled up from a field.SOLUTION: A root crop harvester is configured by including a pull-out conveyor (24), a crop conveying unit (41), a foliage preparation unit (42) and a crop recovery unit (G). The crop conveying unit (41) disposes multiple conveying rotating bodies (43a, 43b) for conveying the crops received from the pull-out conveyor (24) in the recovery direction (T2) perpendicular to the conveying direction (T1), adjacently to each other by providing a rotation difference. The foliage preparation unit (42) includes an endless conveying member (46) for holding the crops received from the crop conveying unit (41), and a cutting blade (47) for removing the foliage of the crops conveyed by the endless conveying member (46). Accordingly, the mud attached to the crops is removed in the recovery transportation process, and thereby the process accuracy reaching the recovery can be secured.
