The invention relates to solid pharmaceutical or veterinary compositions comprising substantially pure Tulythromycin A in form of an addition salt with one or more acids, and to methods for preparing them. Following reconstitution with an aqueous solvent, the resulting solutions of Tulathromycin A may be administered to a mammal in order to treat bacterial or protozoal infections.
