A resettable drug delivery device is provided comprising a body, a cartridge holder for receiving a cartridge, and means for releasably coupling the cartridge holder to the body or the dose setting mechanism. During an initial rotational coupling movement of the cartridge holder relative to the body or the dose setting mechanism the cartridge holder is caused to move in a first axial direction relative to the body or the dose setting mechanism and during a continued rotational coupling movement of the cartridge holder relative to the body or the dose setting mechanism the cartridge holder is caused to move in a second, contrary axial direction.
