An embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for visualizing at least one human or animal brain segment in order to aid a stimulation or manipulation of the brain, said method comprising the steps of: (a) predicting the localization of where a stimulation or manipulation effect is or would be, if and when initiated, and determining at least one target brain segment which is or would be stimulated or manipulated； (b) evaluating whether at least one brain segment is functionally correlated to said at least one target brain segment； (c) providing image data which visualize the at least one target brain segment and/or at least one of the correlated brain segments as evaluated in step (b)； and (d) displaying the image data.Un mode de réalisation de la présente invention concerne un procédé pour visualiser au moins un segment de cerveau humain ou animal afin de faciliter une stimulation ou manipulation du cerveau, ledit procédé comprenant les étapes de : (a) prédiction de la localisation de l'emplacement où un effet d'une stimulation ou manipulation se trouve ou se trouverait, si et lorsqu'elle est initiée, et détermination d'au moins un segment de cerveau cible qui est ou serait stimulé ou manipulé ； (b) évaluation si au moins un segment de cerveau est fonctionnellement corrélé audit au moins un segment de cerveau cible ； (c) production de données d'image qui visualisent l'au moins un segment de cerveau cible et/ou au moins un des segments de cerveau corrélés tels qu'évalués dans l'étape (b) ； et (d) affichage des données d'image.
