PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type tending machine capable of adjusting a mounting height of a skid while minimizing handling load in the walking type tending machine being switchable between cultivation work and moving work by an inversion operation of an inversion member.SOLUTION: The walking type tending machine comprises a cultivation part (2), a control handle (3), and an inversion member (6) at a machine body rear part via a mount part (4) so as to switch the inversion. The inversion member (6) includes a skid (7) for cultivation work and a tail wheel (8) for moving work in vertical arrangement, where both are switchable to a grounding position respectively. The inversion member (6) includes an adjustment part (12) between itself and the skid (7). The adjustment part (12) is alternately provided with detachable fixing tools (12a), and a plurality of position adjustment holes (12b) for performing the positioning by the fixing tools (12a).
