The invention relates to a bipedal walking apparatus which characterizes by allowing reconfiguring a variety of paths to its walk. Each limb is a complex subactuated mechanism formed by the combination of the Jansen and Hopkins bar mechanisms and an actuator drives each limb. Also, it possesses a device that allows synchronization and adequately offset the movement of the limbs. The presented invention maintains a manual calibration and adjustment mechanism for reconfiguring a variety of walks at both limbs. The limbs are attached to a double hip that laterally dampens the oscillations by a spring system, and that stability combines with the vertical damping of the feet by other pairs of springs.La presente invención se refiere a un aparato bípedo caminante que se caracteriza porque permite reconfigurar a una diversidad de trayectorias su caminata. Cada extremidad es un mecanismo complejo subactuado conformado por la combinación de los mecanismos de barras Jansen y Hoeckens, y cada extremidad es impulsada por un actuador. Además, posee un mecanismo que permite sincronizar y desfasar adecuadamente el movimiento de las extremidades. La invención presentada posee un mecanismo manual de calibración y ajuste para reconfigurar una diversidad de caminatas en ambas extremidades. Las extremidades están sujetas a una doble cadera que amortigua lateralmente las oscilaciones mediante un sistema de resortes, y esa estabilidad se combina con el amortiguamiento vertical de de los pies mediante otros pares de resortes.
