The present invention relates to a cap (12) for an injection device (10). The injection device comprises a body for holding a syringe having a needle extending from an end thereof. The cap is removably attachable to the body. The cap comprises an actuator (23) and a needle shield (22) to cover said needle. The cap further comprises a coupling between the actuator and the needle shield. The coupling is configured such that when the cap is attached to the body of an injection device axial movement of the actuator away from the body causes rotation of the needle shield relative to the body.La présente invention concerne un capuchon (12) destiné à un dispositif dinjection (10). Le dispositif dinjection comprend un corps destiné à porter une seringue comportant une aiguille sétendant à partir dune extrémité de celui-ci. Le capuchon peut être fixé de manière amovible au corps. Le capuchon comprend un actionneur (23) et un protecteur daiguille (22) pour recouvrir ladite aiguille. Le capuchon comprend également un accouplement entre lactionneur et le protecteur daiguille. Laccouplement est conçu de telle sorte que, lorsque le capuchon est fixé au corps dun dispositif dinjection, le mouvement axial de lactionneur dans le sens dun éloignement du corps entraîne la rotation du protecteur daiguille par rapport au corps.
