PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a use feeling of an air sterilization/deodorization device which is used at a hospital or a nursing facility where there are many elderly.SOLUTION: A sterilization/deodorization device comprises a cover part 18 disposed on a top face of a main body case so as to be freely opened and closed, and an on/off switch operation part 27 is provided on a partial upper part of a switch. The cover part 18 comprises an oblong square flat plate-shaped cover top face 25 which is a horizontal face comprising the on/off switch operation part 27, and a cover side peripheral face 26 extending downward from a peripheral edge of the cover top face 25.
