PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray diagnostic apparatus reduced in work.SOLUTION: The X-ray diagnostic apparatus includes: a top plate-supporting body 12 supporting a top plate 11 where a subject P is placed, so as to be movable in a longitudinal direction, in a standing and falling direction and in a vertical direction an arm 23 movably supporting an X-ray detector 26 detecting X ray transmitting through an X-ray pipe 24 irradiating the subject P with the X ray, and the subject P and a position-storing part 43 storing image positions T1, T3 of the top plate 11 where the subject P is positioned based on the arm 23, and the arm 23, and a retreating position T2 of the arm 23.
