This invention provides an application of resveratrol extracts extracted from peanut stem for manufacturing pharmaceutical composition to reduce radio-resistance of prostate cancer, wherein the pharmaceutical composition comprises an effective dose of resveratrol extracts for reducing radio-resistance of prostate cancer and its pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The resveratrol extracts in this invention is extracted from peanut stem which not only have the effect of inhibiting the growth of prostate cancer, but also can promote the ionizing radiation to kill prostate cancer cells and achieve the effect of reducing radio-resistance of prostate cancer.本發明係提供一種由花生莖萃取之白藜蘆醇萃取物用於製造降低前列腺癌放射線抗性之醫藥組合物之用途,其中醫藥組合物包括降低前列腺癌放射線抗性之有效劑量的白藜蘆醇萃取物以及其醫藥學上可接受的載劑。本發明所述之白藜蘆醇萃取物係由花生莖萃取而得,不但具有抑制前列腺癌的生長之效果,更能促使游離性輻射殺死前列腺癌細胞,並達到降低前列腺癌放射線抗性之效果。
