PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a work vehicle to surely avoid coming in contact with an obstacle during its automatic operation.SOLUTION: A work vehicle comprises an electronic control system for vehicle automatic operation in which a vehicle is automatically operated. The electronic control system includes: front and rear obstacle search instruments 65 for detecting an approach of an obstacle and a contact avoidance control unit for performing contact avoidance control for avoiding coming into contact with the obstacle when the approach of the obstacle is detected by the obstacle search instruments 65. The front obstacle search instrument 65 of the front and rear obstacle search instruments 65 is arranged on an upper part of the front of the vehicle, and the rear obstacle search instrument 65 is arranged on an upper part of the rear of the vehicle.
