PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel agent derived from naturally occurring component which exhibits an excellent effect in maintaining functions of a stem cell, particularly a mesenchymal stem cell, and is excellent in safety.SOLUTION: A stem cell function-maintaining agent contains as an active ingredient extract or a hydrolysate thereof of one or more plant selected from the group consisting of rice, Luffa cylindrica (L.) Roem., Prunus persica, Glycine max (L.)
