Also proposed is a bale wrapping device (12) for enveloping a preferably round cylindrical bale (34) with an enveloping material (38), having a frame (14) and at least one wrapping arm (36) attached to the frame (14) in a pivotable manner such that it is preferably able to run at least regionally around a bale (34) to be wrapped, and a harvesting appliance (10).
