A method for producing a biomatrix scaffold from mammalian liver tissue, comprising: a) perfusing or homogenizing the liver tissue with a first basal medium, wherein the osmolality of said first medium is 250 mOsm / kg at 350 mOsm / kg and said first medium is serum free and at neutral pH; then b) perfuse the biological tissue or extract the homogenate from step (a) with a slip buffer comprising sodium deoxycholate and phospholipase A2 in said first medium; then c) perfuse the tissue or extract the homogenate from step (b) with a buffer at a neutral pH and comprising a salt concentration of 2.0 M NaCl at 5.0 M, the concentration chosen to keep the insoluble collagen identified in the biological tissue; then d) perfuse the tissue or extract the homogenate from step (c) with RNAase and DNAase in a buffer; and then e) rinse the tissue or homogenate of step (d) with a second medium that is at neutral pH, is serum free and has an osmolality of 250 mOsm / kg to 350 mOsm / kg, to thereby produce a intact or homogenized biomatrix scaffolding from biological tissue, said biomatrix scaffold retains at least 95% of its original collagen and most of the matrix components associated with collagen and growth factors, hormones and cytokines attached to the matrix of the biological tissue.Un método para producir un andamio de biomatriz a partir de tejido hepático de mamífero, que comprende: a) perfundir u homogeneizar el tejido hepático con un primer medio basal, en donde la osmolalidad de dicho primer medio es de 250 mOsm/kg a 350 mOsm/kg y dicho primer medio está libre de suero y a pH neutro; después b) perfundir el tejido biológico o extraer el homogeneizado de la etapa (a) con un tampón de deslipidación que comprende desoxicolato sódico y fosfolipasa A2 en dicho primer medio; después c) perfundir el tejido o extraer el homogeneizado de la etapa (b) con un tampón a un pH neutro y que comprende una concentración de sal de 2,0 M de NaCl a 5,0 M, la concentración elegida para mante
