PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire having guide means which can surely transmit pushing force and torque of a core shaft to a tip end in a side sub-blood channel where tortuousness of a blood vessel is intensive.SOLUTION: A guide wire 1 includes a cylindrical body 20, a core shaft 10 inserted into the cylindrical body 20, a soft section 14 connected with a tip end of the core shaft 10, a ball chip 16 connected with a tip end of the soft section 14, guide means 18 for guiding the core shaft 12 and the soft section 14 in an axial direction, and stopper means 30 arranged in the cylindrical body 20. Since the guide means 18 moves along an inner cavity 21 of the cylindrical body 20, curvature and flexion of the soft section 14 is suppressed, and pushing force and torque of the core shaft 10 by a doctor is surely transmitted to a ball chip 16 at the tip end without being attenuated by the curvature and flexion of the soft section 14.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】血管の蛇行性が強い側副血行路において、コアシャフトの押し込み力や回転力を先端まで確実に伝達することができる、案内手段を有したガイドワイヤを提供する。【解決手段】ガイドワイヤ1は、筒状体20と、筒状体20に挿入されたコアシャフト10と、コアシャフト10の先端に接続された柔軟部14と、柔軟部14の先端に接続されたボールチップ16と、コアシャフト12と柔軟部14とを軸方向に案内する案内手段18と、筒状体20内に設けられたストッパー手段30と、からなる。案内手段18が筒状体20の内腔21に沿うように移動するので、柔軟部14の湾曲又は屈曲が抑制され、医師によるコアシャフト10の押し込み力や回転力が、柔軟部14の湾曲又は屈曲で減衰されることなく、先端のボールチップ16まで確実に伝達される。【選択図】図1
