PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter capable of sufficiently securing bond strength between a tip end chip and a shaft part.SOLUTION: A catheter 1 comprises: a shaft part 10 formed of a tubular inner layer 20, a reinforcement layer 30 covering the inner layer 20, and an outer layer 50 covering the reinforcement layer 30 and a resin tip end chip 60 attached to a tip end of the shaft part 10. The reinforcement layer 30 is formed of a hollow strand, and the tip end chip 60 is inserted into a hollow part 30a of the strand. Therefore, catch between the tip end chip 60 and the reinforcement layer 30 can be sufficiently secured, so that bond strength between the tip end chip 60 and the shaft part 10 can be increased.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
