An emulsion of a macrolide-type compound having a 16-membered ring, which is prepared using a water-soluble solvent, is sprayed onto the surface of soil and then mixing the emulsion with the soil. Alternatively, granules prepared by adhering the emulsion onto a mineral carrier are mixed with soil.
