PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold insulator capable of making a water-containing structure made of an aggregate of wood chips or sawdust filled in a buffer material for supporting or protecting a pillow or a body or the like, or a foam including bubbles of a communication structure hold water, and capable of being utilized by cooling or freezing the structure while maintaining coldness thereof durable.SOLUTION: A cold insulator can be utilized by making a water-containing structure made of an aggregate of wood chips or sawdust, or a foam including bubbles of a communication structure hold water such that the water-containing structure has a prescribed water content, bagging and thereafter cooling or freezing the structure.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】この発明は、枕やその他の身体を支えたり保護したりするための緩衝材に充填する木材チップ、おがくずの集合体、または連通構造の気泡を備えた発泡体からなる含水構造物に水分を保持させ、それを冷却あるいは冷凍して保冷材として利用することが可能であり、しかもその冷たさが長持ちするようにした保冷材を提供しようとする。【解決手段】この発明の保冷材は、木材チップ、おがくずの集合体、または連通構造の気泡を備えた発泡体からなる含水構造物に対して所定の含水率となるよう水分を保持させ、これを袋詰めした上で冷蔵ないし冷凍させて保冷材として用いることができるようにしたことを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
