Disclosed is the use of a combination of testosterone or an analogue thereof and tadalafil, in the preparation of a medicament for the treatment of female sexual dysfunction, wherein said testosterone or an analogue thereof and tadalafil are released at essentially the same time, or wherein said tadalafil is released prior to said testosterone or an analogue thereof, and wherein said testosterone or an analogue thereof is provided such that there is a short lasting peak of testosterone or an analogue thereof in the blood circulation of the subject to whom it is administered such that the peak effects of testosterone or an analogue thereof and tadalafil overlap at least in part. Also disclosed is a pharmaceutical formulation.
