PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent capacity shortage of a battery during diagnosis in an ultrasonic diagnostic device having the battery.SOLUTION: A battery residual amount determination part 54 inversely calculates a residual amount P0 of a battery 20 at the present point in time required for performing diagnosis under a current operation condition from the minimum operation-guaranteed residual amount of the battery 20 at the end of diagnosis by using a first power consumption function indicating the relationship between the operation time of a wireless probe 12 and the power consumption of the battery 20 under the current operation condition, and inversely calculates a residual amount Pmin of the battery 20 at the present point in time required for performing diagnosis under the minimum operation condition by using a second power consumption function indicating the relationship between the operation time of the wireless probe 12 and the power consumption of the battery 20 under the minimum operation condition for performing diagnosis.
