The present invention relates to a composition comprising an extract of Akebia quinata for preventing, improving or treating inflammation caused by toxicity of oral bacteria. More particularly, the present invention relates to a composition comprising an extract of Akebia quinata having an effect of preventing, improving or treating inflammation caused by Ag I/II, which is an adhesion of Streptococcus mutans, an oral bacterium as well as a toxin, i.e., a virulence factor. The composition according to the present invention provides a composition for preventing, improving or treating inflammation caused by toxicity of oral bacteria, which comprises 7.8-256 ug/mL of an extract of Akebia quinata based on RAW 264.7 cells (1×10^6 cells/well) treated with 2.5 ug/mL of Ag I/II.
