PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a green soybean harvester having improved harvest yield of green soybean pod and reduced labor and power consumption in a sorting workpiece after picking workpiece by removing most part of stalks and leaves before picking the green soybean pods from green soybean plants cultured on a field.SOLUTION: The harvester harvesting the green soybean 1 cultured on the field G while traveling with a traveling device 20 is provided with a foreign material removing device 30 which is arranged in front of the traveling device 20 based on the traveling direction and cuts and removes an upper stalks and leaves 3 of the green soybean plant 1. As an embodiment, the harvester is provided with the foreign material removing device 30 to cut and remove the upper stalks and leaves 3 of the green soybean plant 1, a picking device 50 to pick off the green soybean pods 2 from the green soybean plant 1, a transfer conveyor 70 to transfer the picked green soybean pod 2, a winnowing fan 80 to sort the green soybean pods 2 from the stalks and leaves 3, and a holding container 90 to hold the sorted green soybean pods 2.
