PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic preparation which can be applied to hair evenly and improves the smoothness of finger combing and gathering of hair when used either for dried hair or hair dried by towel.SOLUTION: The hair cosmetic preparation contains a component (A) containing a compound (a1) obtained by acylating a compound which is hydrolyzed from a silk protein to an amino acid unit, and a dimethiconol emulsion (B) containing dimethiconol (b1), a surfactant (b2) and water (b3). The component (A) contains at least three kinds of compounds (a1) of formula (1) of R1CONHCH(R2)COOM with different R2. On the basis of the total amount 100 wt.% of the hair cosmetic preparation, the amount of the compound (a1) is 0.05-3.0 wt.%, and that of the dimethiconol (b1) is 0.05-4.0 wt.%.
