PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope which permits the neutral point of a curving portion to be reset in a curving condition.
SOLUTION: The endoscope includes a curving means to curve the curving portion, an operating means to cure the curving portion by operating the curving means, a driving means to curve the curving portion by the curving means, and a resetting means to reset the neutral point of the curving portion, thereby solving the problem by maintaining the curving portion by a prescribed curving amount by the driving means in accordance with a reset instruction by the resetting means.
