PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent vibration exerted to an image display device from influencing to image reading of the image by changing display magnification according to a magnitude of the vibration and incidental information of the image.SOLUTION: A portable image display device 101 detects the vibration with a vibration detection unit 103. An image information analysis processing unit 105 analyses the incidental information associated with the image data, and outputs an analysis result to a reproduction control unit 104. The reproduction control unit 104 decides a display magnification of the image according to information such as the magnitude of the vibration, a type of the image, and an imaging point, by using previously set control information, and instructs it to a display size control unit 107.
