PURPOSE: Seed fixing mesh, a seed fixing method to the seed fixing mesh, and water flotation hydroponic culture system and method using thereof are provided to use water-soluble edible starch powder for fixing seeds to the seed fixing mesh instead of a chemical adhesive.CONSTITUTION: A seed fixing method to a seed fixing mesh comprises the following steps: coating seeds with water； coating the seeds with water-soluble edible starch powder； and arranging the seeds on the seed fixing mesh； spraying water to the seeds on the seed fixing mesh for melting the starch powder； and drying the starch powder for hardening. The seed fixing mesh is selected from a gauze, a plastic sheet with cross shaped through-holes, or a cotton cloth. A water flotation hydroponic culture system includes a water tank(10), a water flotation hydroponic culture plate(100), the seed fixing mesh(140), and a water temperature control heater(160).
