The present invention relates to a composition for proliferating stem cells or skin cells comprising at least one among an Andrographis paniculata extract, andrographolide, or salts thereof, and to a composition for improving skin conditions comprising the same. The composition of the present invention induces secretion of a growth factor from stem cells and skin cells and promotes cell proliferation.
