A device (1) for impacting an implant, comprising: a first surface (2) for engaging, in use, with the implant and a second surface (3) for engaging, in use, with a shaft having a proximal end and a distal end, wherein the first surface (2) and the second (3) surface are not parallel to one another, and wherein, in use, the distal end of the shaft releasably engages with the second surface (3) of the device such that when force is applied to the proximal end of the shaft the force is transferred via the device (1) to the implant, thereby impacting the implant. A method for implanting an implant using such a device (1).Linvention concerne un dispositif (1) conçu pour impacter un implant. Le dispositif comprend : une première surface (2) destinée, en cours dutilisation, à coopérer avec limplant et une seconde surface (3) destinée, en cours dutilisation, à coopérer avec une tige pourvue d’une extrémité proximale et d’une extrémité distale, la première surface (2) et la seconde surface (3) nétant pas parallèles lune à lautre. L’extrémité distale de la tige, en cours dutilisation, coopère de manière amovible avec la seconde surface (3) du dispositif, de sorte que lorsquune force est appliquée à lextrémité proximale de la tige, la force est transmise par lintermédiaire du dispositif (1) à limplant, impactant ainsi limplant. Linvention concerne en outre un procédé dimplantation dun implant au moyen dun tel dispositif (1).
