PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause less displacement of an absorbent pad and less leakage of an excretory substance, when the absorbent pad is used with it overlapped with a disposable pants-type diaper having leakproof walls.SOLUTION: The disposable pants-type diaper to which an absorbent pad 100 can be removably attached is provided. Leakproof walls 50 include joining parts 61 at positions where a lateral length of an outer layer sheet 30 becomes minimal in the longitudinal direction. A total sum of the lateral width of an absorber body 10 at the minimal position, when the absorber body and the leakproof walls are stretched in the lateral direction, and twice as long as the distance between a lateral end of the absorber body and the joining parts is larger than a total sum of the lateral width of the absorbent pad at the minimal position when the absorbent pad is stretched in the lateral direction and twice as thick as the thickness of the absorbent pad.
