PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause less displacement of an absorbent pad and less leakage of an excretory substance, when the absorbent pad is used with it overlapped with a disposable pants-type diaper having leakproof walls.SOLUTION: The disposable pants-type diaper includes: an absorbent body 10 with an absorber 11 a pair of leakproof walls 50 having elastic members stretching in the longitudinal direction and provided at laterally both sides of the absorbent body and an outer layer sheet 30 provided in a non-skin side of the absorbent body, where an absorbent pad 100 with liquid absorbability is removably attached to the skin side in the thickness direction of the disposable pants-type diaper. The pair of leakproof walls include respectively, joining parts 61 formed by joining surfaces in the thickness-direction one sides to each other, at least at positions where a lateral length of the outer layer sheet becomes minimal in the longitudinal direction.
