PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foliage raising device of a rhizome crop harvester in which the foliage of rhizome crops lying and fallen down in a field surface is raised and pulled out, and can reliably be held and pulled out by a conveyor.SOLUTION: A rhizome crop harvester A includes a pull-out conveyor provided in left and right pairs in facing and abutting manner in the rear rising slope, and pulling up rhizome crops at an opposing part of the pair by holding foliage L of rhizome crops C planted in a field and pulling out and moving the foliage rearward. In the rhizome crop harvester, a foliage raising device D has rotating shafts 81, 82 of the direction intersecting with the traveling direction provided in an upper part and a lower part of the front end of the pull-out conveyor, respectively, and raising means 83 bridged between respective rotating shafts 81, 82 and for raising the foliage of the rhizome crops by rotating around the rotating shafts.
