PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope and an endoscope auxiliary implement capable of ensuring the visibility of a distal end even when sucking occurs from the distal end.SOLUTION: An endoscope comprises an endoscope body and a ring member provided on an outer periphery of a distal end part of the endoscope body. The outer diameter of the ring member is 1.2 to 4 times the outer diameter of the endoscope body. An endoscope auxiliary implement can be attached to and detached from the outer periphery of the distal end part of the endoscope body and comprises a cylindrical member covering the outer periphery of the distal end part of the endoscope body and a ring member provided on an outer periphery of the cylindrical member.
