PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring endoscope device that can display an accurate measurable region and grasp the region in which a size of an object can be easily measured.SOLUTION: An image element 2a images a subject to output an image signal. A CPU18 measures a size of the subject based on the image signal output by the image element 2a. LCD5 displays an image. An image signal processing circuit 12 displays a live image on an LCD 5 in which a measurable region display is overlapped showing a region in which the CPU18 can measure the size of the subject. CPU18 measures an object distance which is a distance from the image element 2a to the subject.
