A harvesting system mounted on a farm vehicle includes a divider, at least a pair of knock down rollers, a base cutter, plurality of rollers, a chopper drum, a separator and an elevator. The divider includes a laying element for picking crop planted in a furrow in which the farm vehicle advances and direct the crop to at least a pair of side elements. The pair of side elements pushes crops of adjacent furrows to respective furrows. The knock down rollers further directs the picked crop. The base cutter enters soil in the furrow and cuts the crop at a pre-determined depth. The chopper drum receives the cut crop directed there-to by the rollers and cuts crops into desired size and chops-off undesired portion of the crop. The blower separates the undesired portion of the cut crop from the cut crop and dispenses the undesired portion of the cut crop.
