PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sweat smell generation suppressant composition and a sweat smell generation suppressing method, for suppressing sweat smell generation itself.
SOLUTION: The sweat smell generation suppressant composition contains the following (a) component and (b) component. In the sweat smell generation suppressing method, the composition containing the (a) component, the (b) component, and water is brought into contact with an object with sweat attached thereto. The component (a) is one or more &beta-glucuronidase inhibitors selected from among 3-methyl-4-cyclopentadecene-1-one, 3-methyl-5-cyclopentadecene-1-one, 5-cyclohexadecene-1-one, 8-cyclohexadecene-1-one, 9-cycloheptadecen-1-one, 7-cyclohexadecenolide, and 10-oxa-16-hexadecanolide. The component (b) is one or more selected from a surface-active agent (b1) and a solvent (b2).
