Disclosed are a method for controlling an object by using steady-state visual evoked response potential and a device thereof. The method for controlling the object by connecting a projection display device comprises: assigning and projecting a visual stimulus pattern for a control object through a display of the projection display device； measuring brainwave signals according to the gaze of a user for the projected visual stimulus pattern； and selecting or controlling the control object according to an analysis result which analyzes the measured brainwave signals.안정-상태 시각 유발 전위를 이용한 객체 제어 방법 및 장치가 개시된다. 투사형 디스플레이 장치와 연동되어 객체를 제어하는 방법은, 투사형 디스플레이 장치의 디스플레이를 통해 제어 대상 객체에 대한 시각 자극 패턴을 할당하여 투사시키고, 사용자의 상기 투사된 시각 자극 패턴의 응시에 따른 뇌파 신호를 측정하여, 측정된 뇌파 신호를 분석한 분석 결과에 따라 제어 대상 객체를 선택 또는 제어할 수 있다.
