PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seating aid which is suitable for maintaining comfort for a long period of time and excellent in portability, versatility, and multiplicity of use.SOLUTION: A seating aid 1 used by being hung from a backrest part 20 of a chair or wheelchair comprises a locking member 2 having a first plane fastener 4 on the surface, and a hanging member 3 composed of a back surface part 6 closely locked to the first plane fastener 4 and a seating surface 7 provided at a lower end of the back surface part. The locking member 2 is provided with a mounting string body 5 for fixing to the backrest part 20. In the hanging member 3, a second plane fastener 8 that can be detachably attached to the first plane fastener 4 is disposed on a rear surface of the back surface part 6.
