PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide medical equipment which prevents a tip of a metal layer from protruding from an outer layer, the metal layer arranged on an outer periphery of an inner layer and contained in the outer layer.SOLUTION: Medical equipment (a catheter 100) includes: a long tubular body 10 including a resin inner layer 24 forming a main lumen 20 inside and a resin outer layer 50 containing the inner layer 24 and a metal layer (holding coil 70) contained in the outer layer 50 and covering an outer periphery of the inner layer 24. The metal layer (holding coil 70) includes metal wires 70a, 70b extended in a tip base direction of the tubular body 10 and wound around an axial center of the tubular body 10. The outer layer 50 includes a first area 501, a second area 502, and a third area 503 continuously from a tip of the tubular body 10 toward a base end. The resin hardness of the second area 502 is higher than those of the first area 501 and the third area 503.
