PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform both acquisition of a front-image of an eye to be examined and OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) measurement with a suitable focus condition.SOLUTION: An ophthalmologic observation apparatus of an embodiment comprises: a photographing optical system including a first focusing lens a measuring optical system including a second focusing lens an optical-path coupling part for coupling these optical paths first and second driving parts for respectively moving the first and second focusing lenses and a control part for controlling these driving parts. The measuring optical system performs OCT measurement for acquiring a cross-sectional image of an eyeground of an eye to be examined. The ophthalmologic observation apparatus comprises: a projecting optical system for projecting, onto the eyeground, a focusing index which indicates a focusing state of the photographing optical system and a strength acquisition part for acquiring strength of an interference signal obtained by the measuring optical system. After focusing of the photographing optical system and measuring optical system based on the focusing index is performed, the control part controls the second drive part based on the strength acquired by the strength acquisition part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
