PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a favorable OCT image relating to a specific site without necessarily complicating an apparatus configuration.SOLUTION: An optical coherence tomography apparatus includes: an OCT optical system that splits a light flux exited from a light source into measurement light and reference light, guides the measurement light to an analyte and the reference light to a reference optical system, and then detects an interference state between the measurement light reflected from the analyte and the reference light by a detector and polarization adjustment means for adjusting a polarization state of at least any of the measurement light and the reference light.
