PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide jam excellent in health maintenance, taste, and selling promotion property formed of mainly rhubarb, in which coloring sub material formed of vegetable or fruit holding various plant pigments and herb (flavoring sub material) are mixed thereto and sugar is added and then boiled.SOLUTION: A petiole of rhubarb is cut into optional length in an orthogonal state to its vein for forming a main material. Then vegetable or fruit holding plant pigments is crushed for forming a coloring sub material, the coloring sub material is mixed to the main material by a ratio of 3-8 wt.% to the main material. In addition, a flavoring sub material formed of herb is mixed to the main material by a ratio of 2-5 wt.% to the main material.
