PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial method for continuously producing tasty candies easily by molding crystallized xylitol into a desired shape to have a fine shape, and also exhibiting cool feeling of the xylitol successively.
SOLUTION: The new candy is obtained by laminating a crystalline xylitol part 2 composed of xylitol as the main material, at least one component selected from among monosaccharides, disaccharides, sugar alcohols produced by reducing them at a predetermined amount based on the xylitol and a viscosity-reducing agent composed of an edible surfactant, between corresponding two layered well-known candy parts 3 like a sandwich, and the amount of the viscosity-reducing agent is 0.01-20 mass% to the amount of the xylitol.
